How to get from Olhão to Armona Island: today's ferry times, last boat back, Blue Flag beaches and where to eat on the island.

Armona is the closest island to Olhão and belongs to the municipality (parish of Quelfes). The boat leaves from Olhão pier, near the markets, and arrives at the cluster of houses on the lagoon side. From there a path crosses the island to the ocean beach.
In winter there are few boats and the last one back leaves early. Always check the last return before you go.

- In July and August, the 7:15 return does not run on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. In September, the 19:45 outbound boat only runs until the 20th.
- In summer the morning boats get long queues: arrive early. The ticket office takes cards.
